Lasse och Ulla

Lasse and Ulla Rudberg have known each other for 70 years. Lasse previously worked as a lawyer at Stockholm City Hall, and Ulla as a teacher. They had planned to spend their old age in the Stockholm archipelago, but that dream was shattered when Lasse developed Alzheimer’s disease. In the documentary, we follow Lasse and Ulla Rudberg over the course of nine years. At the beginning, we meet Lasse just after he has received his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, and then follow his journey through the different stages of the illness. We see how Ulla, through her love and care, compensates for Lasse’s limitations so that, despite his disease, he can continue to live an active and meaningful life.
